Higgins uses the Identity Gang definition of Entity with the modification shown in red:

Entity: Person, thing, juridical entity, concept, animal or anything with separate existence. [from wikipedia (see entity), JacoA]

Note: In Higgins an Entity is a non-modeled concept.
