Wonderful call.  Lots of encouraging progress on the funding front.

We had some new participants on the call that previously only participated on the dev call, and we managed (after a short detour) to keep the discussion on "launch topics".  It was again agreed that we are building a commons and that funding for a particular project will be disbursed based on the modules and work required for the project.   We were also reminded that commercial identity systems have hefty price tags. 

Progress was made on discussions with several potential pilot organizations:

• CCP - need to begin drafting a proposal
• SEIU
• Connect US
• Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation

There is also a possibily of funding from a large software company - proposal under discussion.

Jon's CIC purpose "definitions" were distributed on the launch maining list for discussion.
